Abstract
The Shaanbei fine-wool sheep is one of China's important fine-wool sheep breeds,primarily distributed in the Northern Shaanxi(Shaanbei)region of Shaanxi province.It exhibits strong adaptability and high-quality fine wool production ca-pacity.Originating from traditional fine-wool sheep,its breeding program was initiated in 1951.Through multiple rounds of breed improvement and introduction of breeding stock,a stable population and conservation system have been established,main-taining a stable breeding stock size annually.However,conservation farms still face a series of challenges in breeding technolo-gy,farming management,market competitiveness,and talent recruitment,particularly lagging in the application of modern bio-technology and precision management.Furthermore,pressure from disease prevention and control is increasing,posing challen-ges to traditional epidemic prevention methods.To promote the sustainable development of the Shaanbei fine-wool sheep,this paper proposes a series of countermeasures.These include strengthening policy support,introducing advanced breeding technologies,improving the farming management system,enhancing mar-ket development and brand building,attracting professional talent,and optimizing the disease prevention and control sys-tem.By combining policy support with technological innova-tion,Shaanbei fine-wool sheep conservation farms can a-chieve the long-term development of the breed and sustain-able growth of the industry.关键词
