Abstract
Journal of Weinan Normal University published its first research paper on Historical Records in its inaugural issue in 1986.In 1989,it officially established the column"Studies on Sima Qian and Historical Records,"which,by its 40th anniversary in Issue 4 of 2025,will have been a dedicated feature for 37 years,publishing a total of 931 articles.The column has been recognized as a"Renowned Column in Philosophy and Social Sciences"by the Chinese Ministry of Education,and the development of this column has undergone three phases:establishment and foundation-building,expansion and growth,and quality enhancement and efficiency improvement.The column covers a wide range of topics and research areas,including studies on Sima Qian's philosophy,his family background,textual analysis of Historical Records,linguistic and literary research,historical event studies,biographical research,and documentary investigations.Guided by the principles of orientation,foundational scholarship,and service to academic research,the column has driven continuous advancements in Historical Records studies and made significant scholarly contributions,establishing itself as a key academic platform for Historical Records research both at home and abroad.Looking ahead,it is a must for the column to break through existing challenges to usher in a new phase of high-quality development.关键词
