Upholding Fundamental Principles and Breaking New Ground in General Secretary Xi Jinping's"Speech on Literature and Art"
摘要
Abstract
The 20th National Congress Report of the CPC proposed that writing a new chapter of Chinese path to modernization of Marxism is the solemn historical responsibility of the contemporary Chinese Communists.General Secretary Xi Jinping,in light of China's reality,upheld fundamental principles and broke new ground.His speech at the Forum on Literature and Art used Marxist standpoints,views,and methods to innovate Chinese-style Marxist literary theory,enriched the ideological content of China's excellent traditional literature and art,created a development concept of exchanges and mutual learning with other civilizations,and constructed a new form of Chinese-style Marxist literary theory with originality,systematicness,and timeliness in the dialectical relationships of"ancient"versus"modern","Chinese"versus"Western",and"stability"versus"change".This further strengthened the cultural connotation of contemporary literary theory construction and enhanced the cultural mission and responsibility of the majority of literary and artistic workers.关键词
