On the Technology Alienation in the Age of Artificial Intelligence:Humanistic Revelation from Zhuangzi and Confucius on the Philosophy of Craftsmanship

Abstract
In the current era of rapid development of artificial intelligence technology,while highly intelligent technologies bring about convenience and prosperity,they give rise to some troubling signs of alienation:humans seem to be increasingly dominated by the very tools they have created and they are confronted with the dangers of subjectivity dissolution and value disorientation.Faced with such dilemmas,traditional technological governance alone may prove inadequate in addressing the deeper spiritual and existential crises that arise.Indeed,against this backdrop,it is of profound significance to re-examine the humanistic wisdom in traditional Chinese philosophy.Over two millennia ago,Zhuangzi offered a penetrating vision of the relationship between technology and the human spirit through his integrated philosophy of"technology"and"Tao".Meanwhile,Confucius' emphasis on moral self-cultivation provides essential normative guidance for reconstructing a human-centered ethics in the technological age.Drawing on Zhuangzi' s"technology and Tao"and Confucius' ethical thought could open up a humanistic path with Chinese characteristics for resolving the contemporary predicament of alienation and reconstructing the ethics of artificial intelligence.关键词
