白于山区不同植被恢复类型和坡位对土壤质量的影响
Response Characteristics of Soil Quality to Different Vegetation Restoration Types and Slope Positions in Baiyu Mountain Area

Abstract
Soil quality assessment is an important way to evaluate the effect of vegetation restoration.To understand the relationship between soil quality and vegetation growth in the Baiyu Mountain area,this study used barren grassland as the control.In February 2023,four typical tree and shrub stand types,namely Caragana,poplar,apricot,and oil pine,were selected in the Baiyu Mountain area.Soil samples with in the 0-40 cm soil layer were collected.The vertical distribution characteristics of soil physical and chemical properties of various vegetation types under different slope conditions were discussed,and a com-prehensive evaluation of their soil quality was conducted.The results show that:1)Among different vege-tation types,the soil field capacity,saturated water content,soil organic matter and total phosphorus con-tent are the highest in the Populus simonii forest,while the soil bulk density and clay content are the high-est in the Pinus tabuliformis forest.The maximum silt content and the minimum sand content are both found in the Caragana korshinskii forest,and the minimum soil organic matter and total phosphorus con-tent are both found in the Pinus tabuliformis or Caragana korshinskii forest.2)With the increase of soil depth,the field capacity,saturated water content,organic matter content and total phosphorus content gen-erally show a downward trend,while the bulk density shows an upward trend.There is no obvious change pattern for the other indicators.3)Vegetation type significantly affects the soil quality index,with aban-doned land(0.570)>Caragana korshinskii forest(0.560)>Populus simonii forest(0.559)>apricot for-est(0.533)>Pinus tabuliformis forest(0.525).The slope position also has a significant impact on soil quality.Except for abandoned land,the soil quality index of different vegetation types shows a trend of first increasing and then decreasing from the top to the bottom of the slope.Except for abandoned land,the soil quality index at the top and middle of the slope is the highest in the Caragana korshinskii forest,while at the bottom of the slope,it is the highest in the Populus simonii forest.In the future,when carrying out vegetation restoration in the Baiyu Mountain area,tree species can be reasonably selected in combination with slope position,root characteristics of tree species and other conditions to form stable configuration patterns such as tree-shrub and tree-shrub-herb.关键词
