毛乌素沙地典型农牧交错区围栏轮牧试验研究
Effects of Fenced Rotational Grazing in the Typical Agro-Pastoral Ecotone of the Mu Us Sandy Land

Abstract
A fenced rotational grazing experiment was conducted in the typical agro-pastoral ecotone area of the Mu Us Sandy Land to provide theoretical support for the protection and utilization of shrub-herb mixed grassland.In the southern margin of the Mu Us Sandy Land,a shrub-herb mixed grassland with consistent soil and vegetation base conditions was selected.Five treatments were set up:full grazing(G1),rotational grazing(G2),summer grazing(G3),summer rest and winter grazing(G4),and full grazing ban(G5,the control).The effects of different fencing and rotational grazing methods on the physical and chemical prop-erties of the soil and biomass were investigated.The results showed that G4 and G2 effectively reduced soil bulk density,increased soil moisture and porosity,significantly decreased soil pH,and improved soil organic matter,available nitrogen,available phosphorus,available potassium,total nitrogen,total phosphorus,and total potassium content.The average biomass of the G4 treatment decreased by 16.32%,and after one re-covery period,the average biomass could recover to 111.62%of the original biomass.Summer rest and winter grazing(G4)had a positive role in improving the ecological environment of the shrub-herb mixed grassland,enhancing its economic value and ecological quality,and promoting the healthy and stable devel-opment of the ecosystem.It is a scientifically appropriate grazing method for the agro-pastoral ecotone area of the southern margin of the Mu Us Sandy Land.关键词
