摘要

Abstract

The objective of this study was to screen low-Cadmium(Cd)-accumulating cruciferous vege-tables suitable for planting in Cd-contaminated farmland.Four cruciferous vegetables,namely Brassica campestris,Brassica rapa L.ssp.pekinensis,Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis,and Brassica oleracea,were selected.Through a field planting experiment,the Cd content in different parts of various vegeta-bles,as well as the Cd accumulation and translocation,were determined,and their health risks were e-valuated.The results showed that there were significant differences in the ability of different crucifer-ous vegetable varieties to absorb,accumulate,and translocate Cd.When the Cd concentration in the farmland soil was approximately 2.5 mg·kg-1,the Cd content and bioaccumulation coefficient in both the aboveground and underground parts of Brassica campestris were significantly higher than those of the other three vegetables(P<0.05),presenting Brassica campestris>Brassica rapa L.ssp.pekin-ensis>Brassica campestris ssp.chinensis>Brassica oleracea.Meanwhile,the health risk assessment indicated that both the health risk index and the target hazard quotient of Brassica campestris were greater than 1,suggesting that Brassica campestris planted in farmland contaminated with low-concen-tration Cd poses a relatively high risk to human health.This study demonstrated that,considering food safety,Brassica oleracea has a relatively higher planting suitability in farmland contaminated with low-concentration Cd.
