摘要

Abstract

Taking the Haimen to Tongzhou Section Project of the Nantong-Wuxi Expressway as an example,the structural config-uration and segmentation position of large-sized prefabricated and assembled box culverts with upper and lower sections are ana-lyzed,along with the connection methods between vertical segments and longitudinal joints.Finite element modeling is employed to calculate and analyze the structural stress under various working conditions.Research indicates that the segmentation positions for large-sized prefabricated and assembled box culverts are located at the middle of the sidewalls,with articulated joints con-nected by bent bolts at the segmentation interface.Finite element results show that stress levels at the bolt connections are rela-tively low,meeting the code requirements for bolt tensile strength.Longitudinal connections use prestressed steel bars threaded through segments,with prestressing force controlled by joint width and tensioning force.Results show that prefabricated and as-sembled box culverts prove suitable for large-scale culvert or box-type channel engineering applications.
