摘要
Abstract
The Strengthening the Reporting of Observational Studies in Epidemiology-Veterinary(STROBE-Vet)guidelines are finalized based on supplementation and revision to STROBE statement,incorporating the characteristics of veterinary medical study,for the purpose of improving the quality and transparency of reporting of observational studies in veterinary field to facilitate systematic evaluation on strengths,limitations and generalizability of studies.The guidelines were developed by a team of experts from several countries in 2016,including 22-item checklist applicable to the areas such as animal health,production,welfare and food safety.Here,STROBE-Vet was introduced from the aspects of its structure and key components,and discussed based on its application value in veterinary medical study,particularly its key role in optimizing study design,promoting evidence translation and alignment with international standards.STROBE-Vet was recommended to be integrated into study design and reporting procedures as well as relevant curricula,and adopted as a submission standard for journals.Through comprehensively improving the standardization and scientific support capacity of observational studies in veterinary epidemiology in China,it will faciliate veterinary reasearch development with high quality.关键词
