Abstract

AIM To explore the application of single-disease teaching rounds in the practical teaching of clinical pharmacy undergraduates.METHODS Taking the theoretical lecture"Pharmacological Treatment of Hypertension"conducted by the Clinical Pharmacy Teaching and Research Section of our hospital for clinical pharmacy interns as an example,this paper made a detailed interpretation from aspects such as the purpose,preparation,process and precautions of single-disease teaching rounds,illustrated how this teaching model was implemented,and analyzed and summarized the advantages and disadvantages of this teaching model.RESULTS Single-disease teaching rounds based on problem-based learning(PBL)and case-based learning(CBL)facilitated the effective integration of theoretical knowledge with clinical pharmacy practice for undergraduate clinical pharmacy students,enhanced their clinical pharmacy service skills,and cultivated clinical pharmacy thinking.CONCLUSION Single-disease teaching rounds based on PBL and CBL demonstrate significant advantages in undergraduate clinical pharmacy internship teaching,can effectively cultivate students'clinical pharmacy thinking and problem-solving abilities,and enhance the teaching level of instructors.This approach is worthy of further promotion and refinement.
