Dynamic Features on Landscape Pattern Evolution of Park Green Space in Nanjing Based on Urban Functional Zones Differentiation

Abstract
[Objective]To enhance the allocation of park green space and facilitate their seamless integration with urban space,it is imperative to elucidate the evolving landscape pattern of park green space within urban functional zones.[Method]Employing refined spatial clustering,landscape index,and other analytical methodologies,this study identified urban functional zones within the central city of Nanjing in 2006,2012,2017,and 2020,it also focuses on revealing the evolution of the landscape pattern of park green space in the whole and each urban functional zone.[Result]1)Urban park green space overall exhibits trends toward miniaturization,dispersion,and diversification,with continuously enhanced connectivity.Their development shifts from rapid growth,characterized by high coverage and steady increase,to high density and rapid expansion,and then to slow growth through stock optimization.2)The dominant function of urban space transitions from"production-living"to"living-ecology."The layout of functional zones gradually stabilizes after experiencing phases of high diffusion and low aggregation.3)The landscape pattern of park green space showed differentiated evolutionary characteristics,across four types of zones:increased equilibrium in widespread and stable zones,significant diffusion in significantly expanding zones,transfer and reduction in significantly contracting zones,and limited dispersion in zones exhibiting sudden dispersion and functional transition.[Conclusion]Urban park green space in the central city of Nanjing formed a pattern of"macro-scale clustering with micro-scale dispersion."The layout of urban functional zones evolved from a concentric ring structure towards a nested structure.The evolution pattern of park green space,based on the differentiation of functional zones,manifests as equilibrium,expansion,contraction,and dispersion.Accordingly,optimization strategies including categorized allocation,system integration,subzone optimization,and precision-based augmentation are proposed.Future research could integrate multi-source data to refine the identification of functional zones and further explore the evolutionary characteristics and driving mechanisms of park green space patterns.关键词
