Current status and thoughts on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pelvic pain in women with pelvic inflammatory disease
摘要
Abstract
Pelvic inflammatory disease(PID)refers to a group of infectious diseases affecting the female upper reproductive tract,including endometritis,salpingitis,tubo-ovarian abscess,and pelvic peritonitis.Persistent and recurrent inflammation often leads to chronic pelvic pain,significantly impacting women's physical and mental health as well as their quality of life.Currently,there is still a lack of diagnostic methods that are both sensitive and specific,as well as cost-effective treatment options.This article provides a review of the current status of the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pelvic pain following PID.关键词
