Expert consensus on standardized operating procedures for oral food challenge in IgE-mediated milk allergy
摘要
Abstract
Milk allergy is one of the main causes of food allergies in children.It has diverse clinical manifestations and is difficult to diagnose.Its pathogenesis may be mediated by IgE,non-IgE,or a combina-tion of both.The oral food challenge(OFC)is an important tool for diagnosing food allergies,including doub-le-blind placebo-controlled OFC,single-blind OFC,and open OFC.Before the test,thorough preparation must be conducted,and an appropriate dose escalation protocol should be selected.During the test,vital signs and clinical symptoms should be monitored,and close observation should be maintained to detect any allergic reactions and provide timely symptomatic treatment.After the test,the patient's diet and treatment plan should be adjusted based on their reactions.This consensus emphasizes the importance of milk oral food challenge in the diagnosis and management of IgE-mediated cow's milk allergy and provides detailed procedures and criteria for interpreting results to improve the diagnosis and management of cow's milk allergy.关键词
