摘要

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by abnormalities in the immune system,characterized by joint pain,swelling,and dysfunction.In recent years,the cGAS-STING signaling pathway has received extensive attention as an important mechanism of intracellular immune re-sponse.cGAS(circular GMP-AMP synthetase)activates STING(stimulation of interferon gene)proteins by recognizing intracellular DNA and synthesizing cGAMP,thereby initiating downstream antiviral immune respon-ses and inflammatory responses.Studies have found that the cGAS-STING signaling pathway not only plays a key role in the defense of pathogenic infection,but also plays an important role in the occurrence and development of autoimmune diseases such as RA.Based on this,the cGAS-STING pathway has become a potential therapeu-tic target for RA.Future studies need to further explore the specific mechanism of this pathway in RA and devel-op corresponding treatment strategies.
