Establishment and practice of the assessment system for graduate student supervisors
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the establishment and practice of an assessment system for graduate student supervisors based on the"Three-Dimensional"approach.Methods A total of 100 graduate student supervisors from the College of Clinical Medicine for Obstetrics&Gynecology and Pediatrics,Fujian Medical University who participated in the"Three-Dimensional"assessment in 2022 and 2023 were selected.Additionally,190 graduate students who applied for degrees between 2020 and 2024 were included,with 66 students before the implementation of the"Three-Dimensional"assessment and 124 students after its implementation.The"Three-Dimensional"approach,which includes diversification of assessment subjects,multidimensional assessment content,and quantitative assessment results,was introduced.The assessment scores of supervisors before and after the implementation of the"Three-Dimensional"method,as well as the quality of graduate training and student satisfaction,were compared.Results The assessment scores of supervisors in 2023 were significantly higher than those in 2022(P<0.05);The number of graduate students participating in poster presentations or conference speeches after the implementation of the"Three-Dimensional"method was significantly higher than before;Additionally,the overall satisfaction of graduate students with their supervisors significantly improved after the implementation of the"Three-Dimensional"method(P<0.05).Conclusion The"Three-Dimensional"assessment method optimizes the comprehensiveness and accuracy of evaluations,effectively motivates the supervisor team,and is expected to promote the overall improvement of graduate education quality.However,further validation over a longer period is still needed.关键词
