Abstract
The medical knowledge system is vast,complex and evolving rapidly,consistently demanding that medical educational concepts and technologies keep pace with the times.With the ar-rival of the era of artificial intelligence and deep development of virtual reality(VR)technology,its unique interactivity and immersion have transformed the learning method and teaching mode of tradi-tional medical education.VR effectively addresses shortcomings including limited practical opportuni-ties and insufficient perceptual knowledge in traditional medical education,improves medical stu-dents'learning interest,relieves their academic pressure,and promotes teaching quality and effective-ness.However,the application of VR technology in medical education is still in its primary stage,fac-ing several challenges including high cost of hardware,limited sensory engagement,and poor user ex-perience.This paper analyzes the disparities in cost and benefit,focus and comprehensiveness,virtual and real needs in the application of VR technology in medical education,proposing further prospects such as collaborative construction and sharing,multi-sensory interaction,progressive integration with the real scenarios.VR technology is expected to be a core tool in medical education,promoting medi-cal education to greater efficiency and intelligence.关键词
