基于TBSS对常规MRI检查不同颅内表现结核患者脑白质改变的分析
A tract-based spatial statistics study of white matter alterations in patients with different brain MRI features

Abstract
Objective:To explore the white matter alterations and their impact on cognitive function in patients with different brain MRI features.Methods:A total of 24 patients with intracranial tuberculosis(ITB)and 26 patients with extracranial multi-organ tuberculosis(EMTB),and 25 healthy controls(HC)were retrospectively collected as ITB,EMTB and HC groups.Applying the tract-based spatial statistics(TBSS)of DTI,the differences in fractional anisotropy(FA)and mean diffusivity(MD)were analyzed among the three groups.Partial correlation analysis was used,with age and gender as covariates,the correlations between FA,MD values in ROI and the cognitive function were investigated.Results:Compared to HC group,EMTB group exhibited localized elevation of MD value,ITB group exhibited widespread FA decreases and more extensive MD increases.Compared to EMTB group,ITB group showed FA decreases and MD increases,with a smaller range of differences between ITB group and HC group.There were no significant correlations between FA or MD values and the cognitive function scores(both P＞0.05).Conclusions:Both ITB and EMTB patients exhibit changes in white matter that may affect cognitive function.EMTB patients may have microstructural lesions in the brain.关键词
