Abstract
Objective To explore the intervention effect of the combination of health belief model based health education with positive psychological cue therapy in patients with psoriasis.Methods A total of 94 patients with psoriasis admitted to the First Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from March 2023 to August 2024 were selected as the subjects of the study.They were divided into two groups using simple random sampling method,each with 47 cases.The control group received routine nursing combined with positive psychological cue therapy,and the observation group received additional health education based on health belief model.The symptoms,unhealthy emotions,and other indicators of the two groups were compared.Results After 1 and 3 months of intervention,the Psoriasis Area and Severity Index score in the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.After 1 week of intervention,the scores of unhealthy emotions in the two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.After 3 months of intervention,the therapy compliance rate of the observation group was higher than that in the control group.After 3 months of intervention,the scores of the General Self-Efficacy Scale increased,and the scores of the Dermatology Life Quality Index decreased in the two groups.The scores in the observation group were better than those in the control group.The differences in the above comparisons were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of health belief model based health education with positive psychological cue therapy for patients with psoriasis can help alleviate their symptoms and unhealthy emotions,enhance their self-efficacy and therapy compliance,and then improve their quality of life.关键词
