Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of an early enteral nutrition support strategy based on disease severity in patients undergoing blood purification. Methods Ninety patients who underwent blood purification at Jianhu People's Hospital from April 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the subjects of study. They were allocated into an observation group and a control group using the random number table method, each with 45 cases. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received a disease-based early enteral nutrition support strategy in addition to the nursing plan of the control group. The nutritional status, serum phosphorus, serum calcium, renal function level, quality of life, and incidence of infections were compared between the two groups. Results After 4 and 8 weeks of intervention, the levels of serum albumin, transferrin, hemoglobin, creatinine, urea nitrogen, phosphorus, and the score of quality of life in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).The two groups were significantly improved compared with those before intervention(P<0.05).The two groups showed significant improvement after 8 weeks of intervention compared with the levels after 4 weeks of intervention(P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the incidence of infections of the observation group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of an early enteral nutrition support strategy based on disease severity can effectively improve the nutritional level and quality of life of patients undergoing blood purification, improve their renal function, and reduce their level of serum phosphorus and incidence of infections.关键词
