Abstract

In order to evaluate the location service capability of the overseas BeiDou system,this paper analyzes the data quality and positioning accuracy of the BeiDou data received by overseas reference stations.In this study,the observation data of 13 MGEX reference stations evenly distributed around the world on the 206~235th day of 2023 for a total of 30 days was selected,and the data quality was checked by Anubis software,and the precise point positioning(PPP)calculation was carried out by Zhonghaida HGO software to obtain the positioning accuracy results.The results show that in terms of data availability,the Beidou navigation satellite system(BDS)results of the three reference stations are lower than those of global positioning system(GPS),and the other stations are the same at 100%.The number of visible satellites of the BDS of the three reference stations is much larger than that of the GPS.In terms of position dilution of precision(PDOP),the results for BDS and GPS were similar;BDS is generally better than GPS.The multipath error is mainly concentrated at 20~50 cm,and the multipath effect of BDS B1I frequency is more serious,which is generally 10~20 cm higher than the rest of the frequency points.In terms of positioning accuracy,the BDS PPP accuracy of the 10 reference stations was higher than that of GPS,indicating that the BDS positioning accuracy of the selected stations was better than that of GPS as a whole.
