Preliminary Report on the Introduction and Experiment of Qingza Series Brassica napus L.Hybrids in Shigatse City

Abstract

By comparatively analyzing the differences in growth period,agronomic traits,and yield performance between five Brassica napus L.hybrid varieties introduced from Qinghai and one conventional Brassica napus L.variety mainly promoted in Shigatse City,this study aims to provide a reference for the popularization and application of the introduced Brassica napus hybrid varieties from Qinghai in Shigatse City.The results showed that Qingza 4 has a short growth period but relatively low yield,and can be used as an optimal variety to replace the local Brassia campestris L.Qingza 7 has a suitable growth period and good yield performance.Referring to the growth period,yield performance,and suitable planting areas of the local main-promoted Brassica napus L.variety,Qingza 7 is recommended to carry out multi-point field pro-duction demonstration tests in the valley agricultural areas of Shigatse City with an altitude of 3 800-4 050 m to further evaluate the populariza-tion value of the variety.Qingza 9,Qingza 12,and Qingza 15 canmature normally in mid-late September when sown in late April in Shigatse City,and have a large yield increase compared with the main-promoted rapeseed varieties.However,considering the actual situation of late sowing(early-mid May)of rapeseed in Shigatse City,there is a high risk of immature in field production demonstration.Therefore,they are not suitable for large-scale field promotion and planting in Shigatse City,and it is recommended to use them as intermediate materials for breeding.
