摘要

Abstract

[Objective]To study the early senescence characteristics of wheat leaf mutant T68.[Method]The wheat line Zhongke 852 and its early senescence mutant T68 induced by γ-ray were used as materials,the photosynthesis indices were detected,as well as the agronomic and yield traits were analyzed,in order to illustrate the physiological and biochemical mechanisms of early senescence T68.[Result]The results showed that Zhongke 852 and early senescence mutant T68 could complete the growth and maturation processes normally.However,the mu-tant T86 grew abnormally in the early stage,with the growth continues,the symptoms of early senescence gradually intensify,which caused wither of the whole plant until died,and led to the plant height and thousand grain weight,as well as yield reduction ultimately.During the occurrence of early senescence reactions,the POD and SOD enzyme activity of T68 were significantly higher than those of Zhongke 852 in top third leaf while were significantly lower in flag and top second leaf.[Conclusion]The conclusions above could lay theoretical foundations for physiological and biochemical mechanisms of mutant T68 for early senescence.
