Analysis of Influencing Factors on Infiltration and Storage Performance of Recycled Aggregate Structural Layers

Abstract
To explore how various factors affect the infiltration and storage performance of recycled aggregate structural layers,this study simulated rainfall intensity and adjusted aggregate particle size,gradation,volume content,and filling order,analyzing relevant performance indicators.Studies indicate that smaller recycled aggregate particles reduce water permeability but enhance water storage:recycled coarse aggregates yield 3.3-3.8 times more water than recycled sand in the enhanced permeability stage,with only 1/5 the volume storage rate.For layered filling,the recycled sand layer's volume proportion is key.A rise from 20%to 60%cuts such water output by 20.5%while increasing rainwater-storing pore volume by 3.4%.Higher recycled aggregate content reduces permeability but boosts detention;pure recycled aggregates show 3.2 times the 1-hour volume storage of natural ones.Altering filling order to sand at the bottom delays initial permeability by 4-5 minutes and raises storage by 3.1%,though recycled brick proportion growth shifts dominance to sand layer volume.关键词
