Abstract
In the field of water resources management,tracer technology plays an important role by virtue of its unique advantages.Sodium fluorescein with high fluorescence intensity and good stability is popularly used as a river tracer.However,there are few reports on the quantitative detection methods of sodium fluorescein in natural water bodies under low concentration conditions.In this study,spectrophotometric method and liquid chromatography method were used to determine the water samples traced with sodium fluorescein.The two detection methods had a good linear relationship within the ranges of 0.03-0.3 mg/L and 0.003-2 mg/L respectively.When the concentration of the water sample was lower than 0.01 mg/L,the precision of the spectrophotometric method dropped significantly,and the detection error was relatively large.The two methods were applied to the river tracer experiment of the Shuangzi Branch Canal in Beijing,and the pollutant change curves of each section were obtained.This research provides important practical guidance for the implementation of river tracer experiments,offers technical support for river pollution control,and provides new ideas and methods for water resources management.关键词
