摘要

Abstract

Gannan Maqu,a crucial water conservation and supply area in the upper reaches of the Yellow River,is predominantly covered by alpine meadows.Investigating the carbon(C),nitrogen(N),and phosphorus(P)content characteristics of grassland plant communities is essential for understanding their growth status.Traditional methods for measuring vegetation physiological and biochemical parameters are time-consuming and labor-intensive,with inherent limitations in spatiotemporal scale.Hyperspectral remote sensing is an effective tool used in environmental monitoring and research.In this study,we collected plant samples and canopy spectral information from alpine meadows in Maqu and employed partial least squares regression(PLSR)and random forest(RF)models to invert the total C(TC),N(TN),and P(TP)contents of the plant communities.The results demonstrated that:1)Based on the coefficient of determination(R2)and root mean square error(RMSE),the PLSR model achieved the best performance for TC and TN inversion,whereas no significant correlation was found for TP,precluding model establishment.2)Key variables for TC inversion included the modified red-edge ratio vegetation index(mSR705)and spectral bands at 1913,1 870,and 758 nm,whereas important indicators for TN involved the normalized difference nitrogen index(NDNI),reflectance at 724 nm,and mSR705.This research confirms that hyperspectral data can accurately invert TC and TN contents in alpine meadow plant communities,thereby establishing a methodological foundation for rapidly monitoring grassland resource management effectiveness and restoration dynamics.
