Abstract

Under the background of double-carbon target and under the new power system,the participation of coal-fired power generating units in deep peak regulation will become normal,which puts forward higher re-quirements for the power generating sets to respond to the variable load rate of the power grid.Frequent partici-pation in peak regulation has a great impact on the stress distribution and fatigue damage of the heating surface of the boiler.Improper control of the lifting and shifting load rate will aggravate the life damage of the heating surface of the boiler,resulting in fatigue cracks and pipe burst.Taking a 1 000 MW ultra-supercritical coal-fired generating unit boiler as an example,the stress distribution and life damage of the outlet container of the boiler high temperature reheater under rapid load change rate are studied through physical modeling and simulation cal-culation,providing a basis for the operation mode adjustment of the unit under deep peak load.The results show that the temperature difference between the inner and outer wall of the container increases with the in-crease of the variable load rate.When the variable load rate increases to 3%BMCR/min,the increase of the thermal stress leads to the total stress being greater than the persistent strength requirement.The variable load rate exceeds 3%BMCR/min,and the maximum stress on the high temperature reheater collector exceeds the ex-isting design standards.The safety of the final reheater container is affected,and the main danger point is locat-ed at the intersection of the first axial root of the furnace and the axial direction of the container.Therefore,from the perspective of boiler safe operation,the variable load rate of the unit should be lower than 3%BMCR/min.
