摘要

Abstract

Multi wavelength semiconductor lasers integrate and package laser bar chips with multiple output wavelengths.However,as the optical power density of the integrated packaging module continues to increase,the laser array exhibits phase modulation nonlinear distortion under the thermal distribution and thermal stress interference of the semiconductor laser bar and multi wavelength packaging module.To solve this problem,a multi wavelength semiconductor laser array phase modulation nonlinear distortion compensation method is proposed.Firstly,based on the instantaneous response on the subcarrier frequency band,the input signal mapping function value is calculated,the original input signal is transformed through this mapping function,and the corrected output signal is obtained.After com-pleting the preliminary correction,spectral and phase analysis is performed on the corrected signal,and the remaining degree of nonlin-ear distortion is accurately evaluated by calculating quantitative indicators such as harmonic distortion coefficient and phase distortion coefficient.Based on this,a nonlinear distortion compensation strategy is designed and implemented to further reduce distortion.By using the minimum mean square adaptive algorithm,the tap coefficients of multi wavelength semiconductor laser arrays are adjusted based on the degree of nonlinear distortion,and the optimal step size coefficient is determined to minimize the mean square error between the ex-pected signal and the actual output signal,achieving effective compensation for nonlinear distortion.The experimental results show that the proposed method can compensate the nonlinear distortion of multi wavelength semiconductor laser array,and control the error vector amplitude(EVM)value within 1%.
