摘要

Abstract

Wetlands selected for this study included artificial wetlands(Ninghu Wetland),semi-artificial wetlands(Haihu Wetland),and riverine wetlands(Beichuanhe Wetland).The bio-mass and organic carbon content of plants during the green-up period,growth period,and wilting period were analyzed,and the carbon density,carbon storage,and carbon sequestration capacity of wetland plants were calculated.The biomass of plants in the three wetlands was relatively low dur-ing the green-up period,significantly increased during the growth period,and decreased during the wilting period.The biomass of reeds in Beichuanhe Wetland was the highest,while the biomass of cattails in Haihu Wetland and Ninghu Wetland was relatively high.The total organic carbon(TOC)content of the plants in the three wetlands peaked during the growth period,and the TOC content of reeds was higher than that of cattails.The carbon density of different plants was higher during the growth period than during the green-up and wilting periods.The carbon density of reeds in Beichua-nhe Wetland was the highest,and that of cattails in Haihu Wetland was the highest.The total car-bon sequestration capacity of cattails in the three wetlands was greater than that of reeds,and the carbon sequestration capacity reached the maximum value during the plant growth period.In Haihu Wetland,the carbon sequestration capacity and carbon density of cattails were the highest among cattails,at(4 719.91±336.79)g·m-2 and(430.84±32.77)kg·m-2,respectively.In Beichua-nhe Wetland,the carbon sequestration capacity and carbon density of reeds were the highest,at(4 675.95±406.28)g·m-2 and(458.43±40.36)kg·m-2,respectively.The carbon sequestration capacity and carbon storage of wetland plants during the three periods were as follows:Beichuanhe Wetland>Haihu Wetland>Ninghu Wetland.The total carbon storage of the three wetlands was(4.61±0.4)×106 kg.Overall,Beichuanhe Wetland had the best carbon storage capacity.High-altitude wetlands are mainly composed of cold-resistant plants,with relatively low biodiversity and are extremely sensitive to climate change.Deepening the understanding and evaluation of the carbon content,carbon sequestration capacity,carbon density,and carbon storage of alpine wetlands can effectively advance their carbon neutrality goals and facilitate the ecological restoration of degraded alpine wetlands.
