Research progress of deep brain stimulation in subthalamic nucleus for Parkinson's disease complicated with freezing of gait
摘要
Abstract
Freezing of gait(FOG)is a common movement symptom of Parkinson's disease(PD),which often leads to falls and fractures,seriously affecting the quality of life of PD patients.The effect of subthalamic nucleus deep brain stimulation(STN-DBS)on some motor symptoms of PD is clear,but the effect on FOG is inconclusive.In this paper,the epidemiological characteristics and pathogenesis of PD combined with FOG and the effect of STN-DBS on PD were discussed.This paper pro-vides an overview of the epidemiological features,pathogenesis and influencing factors of PD combined with FOG,the efficacy and treatment mechanism of STN-DBS on PD combined with FOG,the position of electrode contacts during STN-DBS,and the influence of postoperative programme control strategies and drug adjustments on PD combined with FOG,with the aim of provid-ing references for in-depth studies related to PD combined with FOG.关键词
