Abstract

Aiming at the three technical problems of slope instability,wind-sand erosion,and precision control difficulties in cable trench excavation for desert photovoltaic power plants,an integrated construction auxiliary device was developed.This device incorporates laser guidance and automatic deviation correction functions to achieve precise excavation positioning.It innovatively adopts a hydraulically adjustable support frame for dynamic slope reinforcement and is equipped with a rotating sand-blocking fence to mitigate wind-sand migration.Empirical validation was conducted in the 8 GW photovoltaic project(154 km cable trench engineering)in the Kubuqi Desert,Inner Mongolia.The results show that the device reduces slope collapse rates by 80%,decreases wind-sand-induced construction interruptions by 50%,improves excavation dimensional accuracy to 98%,reduces wind erosion equipment failure rates by 50%,and enhances overall construction efficiency by 50%.This integrated device effectively resolves excavation quality control challenges in loose sandy soil conditions of deserts,providing critical technical support for large-scale desert photovoltaic base construction.
