摘要

Abstract

The development of efficient and durable oxygen evolution electrocatalysts to improve electrochemical performance is of great significance for energy conversion systems.Report a direct room temperature stirring strategy,in situ preparation of FeCoNi layered hydroxide nanomaterials(FeCoNi-LDHs)using homemade CoNi-glycerate solid spheres as precursor.FeCoNi-LDHs exhibits a layered core-shell structure,numerous ultra-thin layered hydroxide nanosheets forming the walls.Due to the unique structure and composition adjustment of FeCoNi-LDH-5 only needs an overpotential of 182 mV for the OER to drive a current density of 10 mA·cm-2,and shows good electrochemical stability.The significant increase in activity can be attributed to the realization of a larger electrochemically active surface area and a lower transfer resistance.The study provides a new approach for designing LDHs as efficient and promising OER electrocatalysts.
