Abstract

The textile industry pursues green processing.Supercritical carbon dioxide fluid is applied to textile dyeing and finishing because of its high solubility and low viscosity.It has the advantages of no water use,no pollution of waste water,short process,energy saving,excellent dyeing performance and good dye reproducibili-ty,etc.It is especially suitable for hydrophobic fiber dyeing.However,there are few researches on its effect on the structure and properties of textile fibers.Rabbit hair fiber is a high quality protein fiber,which is used for textile materials with moisture absorption,quick drying,antibacterial and deodorant properties,and its natural antibacterial property is better than other animal fibers.The study of the structure and properties of rabbit hair fi-ber in supercritical carbon dioxide fluid has important theoretical significance for the supercritical fluid process-ing of rabbit hair fabric.The effects of supercritical carbon dioxide fluid on the surface morphology,chemical structure and aggregation structure of rabbit hair fibers were investigated by means of scanning electron micros-copy,Fourier infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction,and the mechanical properties of the fibers were ana-lyzed.The results showed that the diameter of rabbit hair fiber increased after supercritical carbon dioxide treat-ment.X-ray diffraction spectra showed that the crystallinity of rabbit hair fiber was increased to some extent af-ter supercritical carbon dioxide treatment.Infrared spectra showed that the chemical structure of rabbit hair fi-bers did not change after supercritical carbon dioxide treatment.
