液态栀子黄的制备及其对棉织物的染色性能
Preparation of liquid gardenia yellow and its dyeing properties on cotton fabric

Abstract
A high-concentration Gardenia yellow dispersion was prepared via mechanical stirring with the addi-tion of anti-sedimentation and anti-mildew agents,which not only ensured stability but also effectively resolved issues of excessive dust generation and slow dissolution during large-scale powder dye addition.The storage sta-bility and rheological properties of the liquid Gardenia yellow dye were investigated.The effects of sodium hy-droxide,acetic acid,and aluminum sulfate concentrations on the color characteristics and rubbing fastness of cotton fabric were systematically explored.Additionally,the dyeing performance of liquid and powder dyes at identical concentrations was compared.The results demonstrated that Gardenia yellow solution 2 exhibited an absorbance of 0.586 after 5,000-fold dilution.After 3 months of storage,the absorbances of the upper and lower suspension layers were 0.594 and 0.605,respectively,indicating excellent stability.The apparent viscosity showed minimal variation with increasing shear rate,characteristic of Newtonian fluid behavior.When using 3 g/L NaOH,2%acetic acid,3%aluminum sulfate,and 5~25 g/L Gardenia yellow solution,the K/S values of cot-ton fabrics dyed with the liquid dye increased by 9%~21%compared to those dyed with the powder form,con-firming superior dyeing efficacy of the liquid formulation.Furthermore,the addition of a small amount of surfac-tant enhanced dye uptake,with the dry and wet rubbing fastness of dyed fabrics reaching Grade 4 or higher.关键词
