Cultural Identity,Transnational Mobilization and Revitalization of Overseas Chinese Hometowns from the Perspective of Actor Network:A Case Study of the Restoration of Yee Clan Ancestral Hall in Guangdong

Abstract
The revitalization of overseas Chinese hometown is a dynamic process involving the participation of multiple sub-jects at home and abroad,among which mobilizing the participation of these subjects is a crucial link.However,the clan restoration activities in the hometown of overseas Chinese showed a strong mobilization ability and successfully gathered the common participation of multiple subjects.In the restoration event of the Yee ancestral hall in Kaiping,the clan actors,as the core,closely incorporated the overseas Chinese,local society,government,capital and architecture into the actor net-work through the translation strategy,realizing the established goals.This process not only constructs the connection be-tween human beings and non-human beings,government and clan,and local and world,but also provides valuable enlight-enment for how to integrate diverse subjects in the revitalization of hometown of overseas Chinese.The government should actively participate in the traditional cultural activities of overseas Chinese townships,play its guiding role,and promote the realization of the revitalization of overseas Chinese townships.关键词
