Abstract

Considering that reinforced concrete structures in western saline soil environments were subjected to both dry-cold and dry-heat climates as well as a variety of corrosive ions,this study conducted an accelerated degradation experiments of reinforced concrete were carried out by immersing in-20∼50℃and 13.4%NaCl+2.3%Na2SO4 composite salt solution.The corrosion degradation process of reinforced concrete in the western saline-alkali soil environment were studied,and the influence of the mechanism sand on its degradation behavior were clarified.Finally,the reliability of reinforced concrete were analyzed based on the Weibull distribution.The results of the study show that the performance of mechanism sand reinforced concrete and natural sand reinforced concrete show a tendency of strengthening in the early stage and deteriorating in the later stage,the higher the strength grade of the concrete,the better the densification,the smaller the degree of deterioration.The reliability of reinforced concrete can be effectively predicted by the Weibull distribution function.Its internal reinforcement corrosion occurs first in the first stage of erosion.while its external concrete protective layer deteriorates in the later stage of erosion.The research results can provide theoretical support for the popularization and application of mechanism sand aggregate in western saline soil areas.
