安徽省中小学体育教师健康教育胜任力现状调查OA

Objective To analyze the level of health education competency and influencing factors of primary and secondary school physical education teachers in Anhui Province,and to provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of relevant policies.Methods Using stratified random sampling,a competency assessment of health education teaching was conducted among 931 primary and secondary school physical education teachers in Anhui Province from January to February 2024.Results The competency level of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Anhui Province in terms of health education was 63.09%.The levels of health knowledge,health skills,health behavior,teaching ability,and teaching motivation are 65.52%,61.01%,41.35%,69.82%,and 77.77%,respectively.The results of the multi-factor logistic regression analysis showed that:compared to teachers with more than 16 years of teaching experience,those with 1 to 5 years and 6 to 15 years of teaching experience had higher levels of competency in health education;compared to teachers with a college degree or below,those with a master's degree or above and bachelor's degree had higher levels of competency in health education.Conclusion The competency level of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in Anhui Province in terms of health education needs to be improved.Teaching experience and educational level are the main factors affecting the current competency level of teachers in health education.In the future,relevant training to enhance the competency of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in health education should be actively carried out.
