Abstract

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to strengthen the inclusive development of special edu-cation,pointing out that special education is an important part of developing the education cause.The integration of artificial intelligence and special educa-tion plays a significant role in achieving the modernization of education,promoting the implementation of the"special education,special handling"policy and facilitating the development of the subjectivity of students with disabilities.However,in the specific practice process,problems such as data security issues,the digital divide and the need to strengthen the construction of the special education teacher team have become prominent.In the process of em-powering special education with artificial intelligence,we should confront difficulties head-on and defuse risks and challenges through measures,such as policy support,research and development management,home-school collaboration and enhancing teachers'intelligent literacy and competence,so as to promote the high-quality development of special education empowered by artificial intelligence.
