Abstract

For the moderately stable,steeply inclined ore bodies with extremely narrow-to-vein,the traditional shallow-hole mining method has a low degree of continuity and mechanization,and low block production efficiency.Based on the mining engineering context of Wuji Jianzhupo Mine,this study is guided by the concepts of"Mining Technology Reconstruction"and the concept of"Synergistic Mining",absorbing the segmented configuration of the segmentation stoping method,integrating the continuous ore blasting technology,mechanized ore extraction technology,reconstructing the process components of the mining method,and developing the"a small-segment flat-bottom ore extraction and small-stage open-stope mining method".Combined with the case study of the development of the new invented mining method,the application of"mining technology reconstruction"and"synergistic mining"in guiding the development of the mining method is elaborated.The results show that the effectiveness of this approach in guiding the development of the new developed"a small-segment flat-bottom ore extraction and small-stage open-stope mining method",which can improve the production capacity of the mine and increase the return rate of the mine.The new mining method achieved an an ore block recovery rate of 83.1%in mine trials,compared to 82%for the original shallow hole mining method.This improved the mine's capacity and recovery rate of the mine,while also offering the advantages of"no personnel entering the mine for work,continuous ore extraction,and coordinated mechanized ore extraction processes."It effectively solved the prominent technical difficulties associated with the original shallow hole mining method used in the mine.The research results provide an innovative solution for the safe and efficient mining of sharply inclined extremely narrow-to-vein ore bodies with moderately solid ore rocks.
