Effects of combined use of silage maize and hypersensitive protein complex enzyme on laying performance,egg quality,and serum indices of laying hens

Abstract
This experiment aimed to investigate the effects of silage maize and hypersensitive protein complex enzyme,used individually or in combination,on laying performance,egg quality,serum antioxidant indices,and biochemical indices of laying hens.A total of 1 200 Sanhuang chickens(230 days old)with similar laying performance and body weight were randomly divided into four groups,with three replicates per group and 100 hens per replicate.The control group(CK group)was fed a basal diet.The T1 group received the basal diet supplemented with 600 g/t hypersensitive protein complex enzyme.The T2 group was fed 20%silage maize+80%basal diet supplemented with 600 g/t hypersensitive protein complex enzyme.The T3 group was fed 20%silage maize+80%basal diet.The trial lasted for 56 days.The results showed that the egg-laying rate and qualified egg rate of the experimental laying hens in group T2 were significantly higher than those in the other experimental groups(P<0.05),and the feed-to-egg ratio was significantly lower than that in the other experimental groups(P<0.05).The eggshell strength,protein height,Halter's unit,eggshell thickness and egg yolk ratio in group T2 were significantly higher than those in the other groups(P<0.05),and the crude fat content in egg yolks was significantly higher than that in group T3 and group CK(P<0.05).The egg yolk ratio in group T1 was significantly better than that in group T3 and group CK(P<0.05).The content of malondialdehyde(MDA)in the serum of laying hens in group T1 and group T2 was significantly lower than that in group CK(P<0.05),and the activities of total superoxide dismutase(T-SOD)and catalase(CAT)in serum were significantly higher than those in group T3 and group CK(P<0.05).The serum calcium(Ca)content of laying hens in group T1 and group T2 was significantly higher than that in group CK and group T3(P<0.05),the blood glucose(GLU)content was extremely lower than that in group CK and group T3(P<0.01),and the total protein(TP)and albumin(ALB)contents were significantly lower than those in group CK(P<0.05).The serum phosphorus(P)content in group T2 was significantly higher than that in the other groups(P<0.05).The study indicates that the combined use of 600 g/t hypersensitive protein complex enzyme with 20%silage maize and 80%basal diet effectively improves laying performance and egg quality,positively impacting the healthy farming of laying hens.关键词
