Media Dimensional Upgrading and Spatial Reconstruction:A Study on the Paradigm Innovation of the Publishing Industry by Interactive Aerial Imaging Technology
摘要
Abstract
With the rapid advancement of immersive technologies, interactive aerial imaging technology has emerged as a transformative force in the evolution of the publishing industry. This technology fundamentally redefines traditional display systems and human-computer interaction models.By utilizing a negative refraction flat lens as its core optical component,it reconstructs light fields to re-converge previously divergent beams in mid-air,producing freestanding three-dimensional images without requiring any physical medium. This research examines how Interactive Aerial Imaging Technology is catalyzing a paradigm shift in publishing through two primary pathways:media dimensionality uplift and spatial reconstruction. The former refers to the evolution of publishing carriers from static,two-dimensional forms to virtual, immersive interfaces. When integrated with gesture recognition, voice control, and other sensory technologies, this imaging system enables real-time,embodied interaction between users and content-transforming reading from a screen-based cognitive process into a multi-sensory spatial experience. These immersive capabilities expand the sensory boundaries of reading while offering new avenues for the reconfiguration of textual, visual, and symbolic elements within publishing. This transformation reflects a transition in publishing from visual-centric engagement toward embodied and experiential modes of interaction, aligning with broader trends in post-screen human-computer interfaces. The second pathway, spatial reconstruction, involves reorganizing publishing workflows and user engagement scenarios through immersive spatial deployment.Holographic publishing enables the embedding of content directly into physical environments-such as museums, libraries, retail outlets, and educational spaces-converting traditional platform-based distribution into contextual environmental integration.Use cases including holographic prompters, interactive display terminals, and digital heritage exhibitions illustrate how publishing content can now coexist with users in three-dimensional,explorable environments. These transformations establish the foundation for a new"spatial publishing"model, characterized by personalized delivery, interactive knowledge pathways, and reconfigurable multi-modal content.Furthermore, this research also concentrates on challenges and opportunities concerning industrial implementation, including high equipment costs, underdeveloped content adaptation workflows, and legal uncertainties surrounding virtual content ownership. In response, pioneering companies such as EASPEED and XHOLO Technology have established service-oriented content teams to assist publishers in converting texts, images, and videos into interactive holographic formats.Additionally, national policies that encourage the integration of new technologies into public reading services also provide institutional guarantees for wider promotion. These developments reflect broader trends in integrating the emerging technologies into knowledge and cultural infrastructures. While highlighting the disruptive potential of this technology, the research also critically reflects on its ethical and societal implications. It addresses concerns regarding data privacy, spatial content governance, and technical accessibility.关键词
