Abstract

The tea industry in Meitan County has experienced rapid development in recent years;however,pesticide residue issues have become increasingly prominent.Traditional detection methods are characterized by operational complexity and high costs,rendering them unsuitable for rapid large-scale screening.Colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay(GICA)technology,with its advantages of operational simplicity,cost-effectiveness,and strong visual interpretability,demonstrates significant potential for pesticide residue monitoring in tea.Investigations revealed that the detection rate of pesticide residues in Meitan County's tea remains above 99%,though inappropriate pesticide application during summer and autumn requires urgent attention.GICA technology exhibited high efficiency in detecting nine major pesticide residues in tea,achieving a visual detection limit as low as 0.001 mg/L.To facilitate GICA technology's adoption,we recommend refining relevant standards and policy frameworks,optimizing product compliance and market access.These technological innovations and applications will advance the green development and quality safety of the tea industry.
