Study on Pyrolysis Characteristics of Plastics Based on Infrared Rapid Heating

Abstract
The study focuses on the pyrolysis of plastic waste,particularly exploring the potential application of infrared rapid heating technology.Using a fixed-bed reactor and low-density polyethylene(LDPE)as a model plastic,the effects of heating rate and pyrolysis temperature on the product distribution and composition of pyrolysis oil were systematically investigated.The results demonstrate that infrared heating technology significantly optimizes the pyrolysis process,enhancing the liquid oil yield and altering the chemical composition of the pyrolysis oil.Furthermore,under optimal process parameters(20℃/s,550℃),a comparative analysis of the pyrolysis characteristics of five common plastics,such as LDPE,high-density polyethylene(HDPE),polypropylene(PP),polystyrene(PS),and polyethylene terephthalate(PET),was conducted,revealing significant differences in their pyrolysis behaviors.LDPE and HDPE primarily produce liquid hydrocarbon products,while PS pyrolysis yields styrene with high selectivity.Furthermore,PET pyrolysis results in a higher proportion of benzoic acid in the products,possessing unique physicochemical properties.The study not only provides new experimental data for the field of plastic pyrolysis but also emphasizes the potential of infrared heating technology in enhancing the efficiency of plastic waste resource recovery.It offers scientific basis and technical reference for future research and practice.关键词
