Abstract
Objective To analyze the temporal trend and relationship between self-compassion and stigma in hemiplegia patients after cerebral hemorrhage surgery.Methods A total of 210 hemiplegia patients after cere-bral hemorrhage surgery who were admitted to Nanjing drum tower hospital group suqian hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected by convenience sampling.They were investigated using the Self-Compassion Scale(SCS)and Stroke Stigma Scale(SSS)at discharge(T1),3 months post-discharge(T2)and 6 months post-discharge(T3)to evaluate their self-compassion and stigma.A cross-lagged model was constructed using Amos to analyze the causal-temporal relationship and direction of causality between self-compassion and stig-ma in hemiplegia patients after cerebral hemorrhage surgery.Results Among these patients,the self-compas-sion scores were(75.45±10.22)points at T1,(78.96±12.26)points at T2 and(85.42±13.14)points at T3,showing a continuous upward trend(P<0.05);the stigma scores were(63.34±10.25)points at T1,(59.63±9.76)points at T2 and(56.78±8.85)points at T3,showing a continuous downward trend(P<0.05).Among these patients,cross-lagged model analysis revealed autoregressive effects on self-compassion and stigma scores:T1 scores influenced T2 scores and T2 scores influenced T3 scores,P<0.05 for all.Furthermore,reciprocal predictive relationships were observed be-tween self-compassion and stigma:T1 self-compassion negatively predicted T2 stigma,T2 self-compassion negatively predicted T3 stigma,T1 stigma negatively predicted T2 self-compassion and T2 stigma negatively predicted T3 self-compassion,P<0.05 for all.Conclusion Self-compassion increases while stigma decreases over time in hemiplegia patients after cerebral hemorrhage surgery,with bidirectional cross-temporal predic-tive relationships between these two indicators,indicating mutual causality.Clinical healthcare providers should assess dynamic changes in patients'self-compassion and stigma and timely implement targeted inter-ventions to enhance self-compassion and reduce stigma.关键词
