Abstract
Objective To explore the predictive value of transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound combined with the simple clinical score for benign and malignant ovarian masses. Methods A total of 140 patients with ovarian masses who underwent transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound examinations in Xihe County Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May 2023 to January 2025 and were transferred to higher-level hospital for surgical pathological diagnosis were retrospectively selected.According to the pathological results, they were divided into the benign group(98 cases)and the malignant group(42 cases). The morphological characteristics of the mass(maximum diameter of the mass, thick septum, central blood flow signal, and papillary protrusion)were evaluated by transabdominal ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound, and the simple clinical score was constructed by combination with age, menopausal status, papillary protrusion, sign of ascites, and human epididymis protein 4 level. The logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of benign and malignant ovarian masses, and the predictive efficacy was analyzed by the receiver operator characteristic curve. Results The maximum diameter of the mass, thick septum, central blood flow signal, carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),and the simple clinical score were the independent risk factors for ovarian mass malignancy(P<0.05).The predictive efficacy of maximum diameter of the mass,CA125,and the simple clinical score combined model was good, with the area under the curve of 0.971,a sensitivity of 95.2%,and a specificity of 98.0%,which was better than the single indicator(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of maximum diameter of the mass,CA125,and the simple clinical score has high predictive value for the benign and malignant nature of ovarian masses.关键词
