摘要

Abstract

When a malfunction occurs in the low-frequency and low-voltage load shedding device of the power grid,it has a cor-responding impact on the overall working life of the power grid.Therefore,a fault detection method for the low-frequency and low-voltage load shedding device of the power grid based on the particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.The pro-posed method learns the working principle of the low-frequency and low-voltage load shedding device,utilizes the intrinsic time-scale decomposition(ITD)method to obtain the transient frequency of fault signals,analyzes the characteristics of the fault sig-nals,improves the particle swarm optimization algorithm,constructs evaluation functions,and accomplishes the fault detection of the low-frequency and low-voltage load shedding device of the power grid.The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method not only performs well in detecting the voltage change rate at the fault location but also enables efficient detec-tion of various faults in different environments.
