The resolution of the "The Tragedy of the Commons" lies in 1∶√2
摘要
Abstract
Over fifty years have elapsed since the publication of"The Tragedy of the Commons",yet humanity has still not found a rational and technical balance point between fairness and efficiency,or between individual rights and the public interest.By analyzing the principle of leverage from two different perspectives-square and circular,this study finds that a 1∶√2 ratio represents the optimal balance between effort-saving and distance-saving.This finding not only dissolves the dilemma posed by the"The Tragedy of the Commons",but also implies that numerous issues unsolvable within a linear framework can be tackled within a circular context.关键词
