Abstract

Concerning the issues of performance degradation in wideband direction-of-arrival(DOA)estimation algo-rithms under low signal-to-noise ratio and limited snapshot conditions,a sub-tensor reconstruction-based DOA estima-tion algorithm was proposed.Initially,the original tensor was decomposed into multiple sub-tensors along both horizon-tal and vertical axes through tensor partitioning,which were then reassembled into a higher-dimensional tensor structure.Subsequently,an optimized three-dimensional tensor was reconstructed via tensor dimension merging.A nuclear norm-based low-rank tensor completion algorithm was employed to efficiently recover the reconstructed tensor.Finally,DOA estimation was achieved through tensor decomposition for signal subspace extraction.Simulation and experimental re-sults demonstrate that,compared to existing algorithms,the proposed algorithm achieves significantly superior root mean square error performance under low signal-to-noise ratio conditions,while maintaining stable estimation perfor-mance even with snapshot numbers as low as 20,proving the algorithm's excellent noise resistance and snapshot robust-ness.
