Capacity Expansion and Reconstruction Project of Jiagedaqi to Gulian Section of Nenjiang-Gulian Railway

Abstract
The Jiagedaqi to Gulian section of Nenjiang-Gulian Railway is an important component of the medium-and long-term railway network plan for the northeastern border region of China.Built in the early years,the current technical standards and transport capacity of the railway cannot meet the passenger and freight volume requirements for the forecasted year,necessitating capacity expansion and reconstruction.Based on the analysis of the existing weak links in the Jiagedaqi to Gulian section of Nenjiang-Gulian Railway,and in combination with its functional positioning and forecast traffic volume,three schemes for speed-up and capacity expansion were presented.After a comprehensive comparison,it is recommended to carry out speed-up and capacity expansion with a design speed target of 120 km/h and a traction capacity of 4 000 t(partially 5 000 t),thus improving the railway network layout in Northeast China and serving the region's high-quality development.关键词
