Abstract
In order to select the most appropriate castration method for sheep farmers in different regions and different conditions,249 rams in Binchuan County were divided into 3 groups,respectively using surgical castration methods,including scrotal top incision,neck stripping,ligation and twirling.Bloodless castration includes rubber band ligature,rope lashing,hook gelation,hammer knot,castration clip and bloodless castration forceps.Castration was performed by drug castration.Results:7～9 days of castration was the shortest,relatively safe and effective.Most blood-free methods,drug castration,local swelling,pain are more than 1 month,the stress reaction time is long,there will be unsuccessful castration cases.It is considered that aseptic surgical castration of the top of the scrotum,walking on a dust-free sports field or a low pasture for one hour after the operation,and then entering the house or grazing after the wound dries up,so as to fight for the first-stage healing of the wound is the ideal choice.关键词
