Abstract
The paper conducted a comprehensive review and re-evaluation of the quality management and control methods during product manufacturing,focusing on process capability control for critical procedures.For the key procedure of grease injection in a critical product(a specialized sealing leather cup for certain aviation equipment),data collection and process quality analysis were performed,and significant fluctuations in grease injection weight and instability in process capability was found in the process.The manufacturing plant established a dedicated QC team.After identifying key operational factors,the team first conducted online weight monitoring during the injection process and used X-bar and R control charts to assess process stability.Then,the team upgraded the aging grease injection equipment by replacing the time-based injection mechanism with a pressure-controlled injection mechanism based on stroke positioning.These improvements significantly enhanced the process capability index(Cpk)and control chart performance.However,it was observed that the process data still showed uneven distribution and notable deviation from the target value,which could not be detected by Cpk alone.To address this problem,the Taguchi process capability index(Cpm) was introduced to strengthen the monitoring of target value deviations,further improving the stability of injection weight,reducing process variability,and ensuring the quality of the sealing leather cup products.关键词
